Basically the whole idea behind clothes hypothetically being alive is that they’d look like invisible people on the outside but the clothes themselves would be the sentient beings.
The clothes would be able to exist via nanobots that are programmed to maintain the shape of the outfit that’s ‘alive’, so it’s more so just simulating being alive as opposed to actually being living beings. The nanobots would have a sci-fi thingy called zero point energy that allows them to telekinetically manipulate things.
