EVerything in on-page SEO = relevance. relavance= what index you rank in, not your rank order
PageRank Authority = how much authority your site has.
How you shape your authority – i.e. how you build your relevance to keywords + the authority you get = SEO
So sites with more relevance to a specific keyphrase can outrank sites with higher “authority ” count or total maximum authority

A lot of SE#O myths and superstitions exist: like you must have a meta-description – try a blank one, you dont “need” images or alt text, you dont need to stuff your page with “SEO” stuff.
