Hey there, so I am a girl and I am unemployed in my country and I have never really had an actual job! I tried getting into the government in my country through a slew of recruitment exams but failed everytime. So far I have been living in my parents' house and money!
Honestly, I feel like crying because I don't have any friends or any workplace to go to and it's been affecting my mental health! And furthermore if you must know, there are many who are my age in my country and are still unemployed! Unemployment is massive here in my country! I have a bachelor's degree which I got six years ago but it's been useless! Education is highly subsidized in my country which is why getting a degree is not that expensive!
Can somebody please make me feel ok! I am at the verge of breaking! My dream was always to see the world before going to heaven. I wonder if that will ever happen! Please don't think I am having thoughts of self harm! I am not! I am stronger than that! Please give me good wishes so that I can deal with my depression and loneliness! Thank you for reading.

In a similar situation. never worked, 6 years since graduation, wanted to explore the world and live freely. failed to get a govt job. even worse struggling with all kinds of mental health issues. i can understand how this predicament makes you feel. I dont think i can make you feel ok, but i am just letting you know that some one like you exists.
girl just go to amazon and be a delivery driver they’ll hire you straight away with christmas coming up, then look for more suitable jobs related to your degree whilst you are building up money
47m, unemployed presently. It always amazes me when people say they can’t find a job. I could walk a kilometer and find a job moving rocks at a construction site if I really needed to… if you *really* need a job, start looking at shittier jobs that you currently think are beneath you; it’s not a guarantee, but the likelihood increases dramatically.
Also, look on the bright side, you live at home, don’t pay rent, have the opportunity to find a job, with relatively no stress. You’re blessed.
Since education is cheap and subsidized, have you considered returning to university and getting a master’s degree or going for a doctorate?
