   For teaching depending on what state you may be able to begin working before you go back to school for teaching – look up teach for America. From there, depending on the state you may be able to get an accelerated Masters of Teaching.

   For nursing if you need to work asap LPN can be obtained the quickest, then from there going into a direct entry Masters of Nursing.

   These are the two I researched. Best of luck.

   Are you on a bus line? Some nursing homes will train you to be a patient care assistant

   The bachelor’s degree is very useful for Accounting and teaching.

   For Accounting, you need to look at the CPA requirements for your state. It varies between states but they tend to require 120 total credits, 30 accounting credits, some business credits, and a couple ethics credits to sit for the CPA. To become licensed: 150 total credits + 1-2 years direct work experience + other requirements. You can look at accelerated CBE programs like UMPI yourpace or WGU where you can take as many courses within a set period of time. My brother completed 30 accounting credits in one 8 week session ($1800 per session).    Some states have alternative teaching paths that require a bachelor’s degree. Some may require additional teaching coursework on top of the bachelor’s. You could also look at WGU’s education master’s programs (make sure the program you select is eligible for licensure in your state).    For LPN or RN school, look at a local community college.

   For the car, buy a piece of shit that is cheap and repairable. Look at govdeal postings. Or just get a crappy job within walking distance that provides tuition reimbursement.
