Nope, just more smoke and mirrors. Each session is individual, and LLMs don’t learn for other users, so it’s about as useful as writing the URL on a piece of paper. The only possible benefit is indirect: if the user decides to revisit the subject later, share it, or link back to it. But beyond that, it’s completely useless. Furthermore: it takes the user away from the user flow or conversion funnel, so you should try to get all our competitors to use it! 😀
No. In order to summarize something, you have to be able to understand what the thing and than turn knowledge into a new thing.
LLMs can’t understand. They just take in words and spit out new orders in deterministic way. It’s random chance.
The purpose? Some brain dead exec thought it was a good idea and some poor product managers didn’t have to guts to tell them to fuck off.
