   You should get yourself Certified CISSP / CISM / ITIL .
   I scraped these licenses off a friend’s linked in. He is a successful IT professional in the security space.

   PeopleCert ITIL® 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management

   There are plenty of roles for security programmers. I keep getting nagged about them. Did it once, hated it, and now they won’t leave me alone. (Medical devices, embedded linux)
