Tıp mı diş hekimliği mi?
Herkese hey, ben bir lise son sınıf öğrenciyim ve tıp veya diş hekimliği peşinde koşmak arasında sıkışmış hissediyorum. Her iki alandaki insanlardan dürüst girdileri gerçekten takdir ediyorum.
Neden diş hekimliğine çekildim:
Daha kısa eğitim süresi, genel olarak daha az talepkar.
Daha esnek yaşam tarzı, aile hayatı için daha iyi.
Sadece ezberleme değil, uygulamalı bir beceri olmasını seviyorum.
Ä°stersem daha sonra uzmanlaÅŸabilirim.
Diş hekimliği hakkında beni endişelendiren şey:
Kokulara duyarlı olabilirim (kötü nefes, enfeksiyonlar, sondaj).
İleriye doğru eğilmeden sırt/omurga sorunları konusunda endişeli.
Neden ilaca çekildim:
Tüm vücudu ve tüm farklı sistemleri öğrenmeyi seviyorum.
Aralarından seçim yapabileceğiniz birçok uzmanlık.
Entelektüel olarak geniş ve heyecan verici hissediyor.
Tıp hakkında beni endişelendiren şey:
Çok daha uzun ve daha zorlu bir yol.
Bir aile inşa etmek veya eğitim sırasında dengeye sahip olmak daha zor.
Şeker kaplı cevaplar aramıyorum-zor gerçekleri istiyorum. Yolunuzu seçmeden önce ne bilmenizi isterdiniz? Tıpta diş hekimliğine gerçekten ne tür bir insan gelişiyor?

It’s a tough call right now between the two but I’m leaning dentistry more and more. There’s mid level creep in medicine where NPs are taking over physician roles because hospitals wanna save money. Theres also AI in the back of everyone’s mind and it’s getting better every day, especially for physician diagnoses related work. Atleast every dentist uses his hands to do procedures whereas only certain medical specialties are hands-on to that extent where they would be AI safe. I would go with dentistry.
I would recommend dentistry, medicine is fun but u will be working 24/7. This will come to bite u eventually when u want to give ur family some time or even planning for holidays. Plus medicine doesn’t end once u finish med school, u still have residency to do, you still have to become a physician then specialize. The time u will spend studying is much much longer.
In my country dentists earn a lot of money and they work like 3 times a week. Honestly pursue medicine if you want to but just having passion for it won’t cut it. You will need to push urself constantly and that means everything around u, u might ignore it for some time.
Also, You will face bad smells in both medicine and dentistry
Dentistry is a great career if you have the passion for it OR the financial literacy to navigate through the tremendous debt you’ll be taking on.
