1) don’t undervalue being a housewife. A stable family with children that are able to grow and reach their potential is something to be proud of
2) there is something to be said for not being valued by what one or 2 persons at an organization think of and instead being valued by what many people want and are willing to pay for
I’m not entirely sure, but it seems you feel being a housewife is inferior. I’m not going to list all the reasons why that’s not true, but I’ll just say this. Especially with today’s job, market finding and working a job is extremely stressful and toxic. Simply being around those spaces corrupts you.
You’re financially stable, you don’t need to stress and burn yourself out with unnecessary sense urgency for money. Give slow life a chance. Do things for the love of it. Take time an explore new interests, hobbies, and skills. Maybe take on a small side hustle. You can work at your own pace that matches your skills and interests.
I don’t know if it’s all that precious, but life is too long to waste away with self-loathing and feeling inferior. Disappointment and discontenment are normal emotions as we don’t always get things to the capacity that we desired, but it’s pointless to stay stuck on that. Make what you will out of life.

I have a question. When you say you can probably find a job, are you referring to a generic job or one within your cyber career. What type of career did you have before?
Not having a job doesn’t mean you cant have income. There are plenty of things that you may find fun that can provide income. Even if it’s not needed, it will most likely make you feel a lot more useful.
Maybe start a social media page, or sell some sort arts and craft, whatever you enjoy doing. You are in a unique position where you have loads of free time in addition to not having to rely on making income. It’s the perfect time to start that side hustle or pursue that dream you always wanted.
You also don’t NEED to do anything other than be a “housewife”. Raising children is a huge responsibility that should not be dismissed
Why does your husband get to decide on going to an area where your job hunt will get more stressful and difficult? That doesn’t seem fair to you.
You’re in the best position ever, you can take a job for the job and not worry about the money. We live rurally and our post office is only open 7-11am, talk about a sweet retirement gig. The lady working there has music going and her dog in the lobby. Don’t get discouraged by boxing yourself in, getting out and just doing something will bring you a sense of pride.
You may change your mind about children later, and perhaps even adopt. This is just a moment in time. Ideally, take a break from everything you’re in and step back in a few days
