   You don’t. If you don’t get it together by the time you are 25 it’s going to be really hard for you.

   You need to get your shit together and get on a path that will pay you the rest of your life. Start studying your ass off.

   If not you’ll end up a broke 35 year old loser having to work 2 jobs.

   This is a wake up call. Get it together now.

   1. Go get a free booklet from motor vehicle commission to stay for the computer test and register for it which is like $20-$30. If you pass the computer test, they will give you a learner permit. Tell your parents to spear 2hours of their times during the week to teach you how to drive or go to a driving school for just 1-2hour per week to learn how to drive.
   2. Stay in school or switch to a community college to get your associate degree before transferring to a 4-year university for your bachelor’s degree. Use the free tutoring center at your school for extra help as well as going to your prof’s office hours if you don’t understand anything.
   3. Apply for internships opportunities and on campus part time employment.

   You are only 21 and these are the things you should be focusing on. If you try to take a short cut, you will be sorry and back to square 1 about 10 years from now. Keep your heads up and study. 📚

   Hi!

   I did turn my life around after my 27-29 rock bottom (after a heartbreak and a work-suspending injury).
   Now (36) this is what I’d tell my younger (early 20s) self:

   1. Knowing yourself is the foundation of all. You cannot know which path to take if you don’t know what you need. It’s like going to a grocery without knowing what to cook. You’d end up wasting money and time getting what other people say and not what you care about. Random stuff that isn’t really yours.
   2. If you think you’re behind, you’re not. The direction is more important than the speed. Everyone has a different destination, so you cannot really compare. There’s that Japanese saying: “If you get on the wrong train, get off at the next station. The longer you stay, the more expensive the return trip will be.” The question is, what if you don’t know your destination yet…? Then try things out and take things slowly… it’s okay.
   3. Invest in relationships and in the market. Find good people, keep them. You’ll need them in the future. Also, invest in a long-term low-cost index fund. It’s not about the amount for now, but building the habit. Your money can grow double every 9-10 years passively, so if you start now, you might be able to retire in your early 50s without ever earning a lot of money.
   4. Happiness = lower expectations (as opposed to having more). If you have all the support but still feeling low, the answer is actually lowering your expectations. Happiness equals what you have divided by what you expect. So if you lower your expectations, then you’d be happy instantly. To lower your expectations, go outside and take walks.

   That’s it. I think you’re gonna be okay.

   i am like 21 myself , i can only say you have to study and complete your courseworks with all the strenghth you have , you have to not play with your food , just tell yourself you have to do it
