Neden denemeye devam edeyim?

Biraz fikir edinmek isterim.

lol, dude I get the doomer mindset, but honestly our lives rely on us as individuals. These are real problems, that I won’t discount. But nobody else can pick you up by the bootstraps and get you to work towards your own goals so that you CAN survive in this world. Therapy helps.

Because you’d starve to death. And make your life worse. Because for the most part, things always get better. Not with your attitude but that’s the reality. Stop with the woe is me and start by getting some self confidence, by any means.

I’d suggest engaging with life and trying to spend less time online and on screens first. Let me answer your questions line by line,

You’re not a pathetic loser for not getting a job in your field after graduating. It’s a huge achievement to graduate and you should feel proud of your accomplishment. Right now is the hardest for new grads to get jobs as it’s ever been.

It took me a while to realize this, but you should only care about the larger future to an extent. Ie: your future and the future of those you love. Things out of your control like capitalism is quite literally out of your control. Sure it’s depressing to think about how everything is getting worse, but that’s out of your control.

You should save because having an emergency fund is a mature and responsible thing to do as an adult. Having savings means you can afford to pay for yourself to live even when something unfortunate happens. Cost of living will always increase and wages will always stagnate. That’s capitalism. You need to realize that’s the point, to force you to do better than you are now. Grocery bagging is not a career job, it’s simply a job you do until you get a better one

Getting a better job is possible IF YOU WANT IT. Stop reading doomer posts online about how hard it is to get a job, it will only dissuade you. You need to specialize in order to get a better job.

You should move out of your parents house because freeloading off them is- while kind of them to do – eventually lame of you to keep doing. They birthed you hoping you would make something of yourself, you’re just scared to take that step.

You have a doomer mindset and I recommend trying to go a day without looking at your phone. Then a week, a month, etc. you will be shocked to see the world is not as hostile as you think it is when you engage with it and actually talk to real people and not absorb doomer material online.

Life is personal for everyone, you need to find what you’re interested in, what makes you a better person, and what keeps you going.

I’m cutting this short cuz I have to go to the gym to better myself (example), but let me know if you have any questions. I’ve been in your shoes before. It does get better man.

Maybe stop looking at the whole world and start looking at you, as an individual. What about your happiness?

There were times (many times) when I wanted throw my hands and say what the point, I’ll never amount to anything but that doesn’t help you at all. Now I think I’ve found what I want to do and I’m ready to try it.

You have options. You can look at Continuing Education classes at a local community college, go to school for a year or so and get a certificate. Or you take some credit classes in something you like and save money in the long run. You can look for more stable, always in demand jobs like something in the healthcare fleid like Sterile Processing or Pharmacy Tech.

Or at least hire a career coach to guide you

I identify with all the feelings you’re going through. I also returned from college to something that was not at all what I had envisioned. I’ve also felt crushed by the world and felt that it was all hopeless and meaningless anyway. It’s a very common experience. The structural crises you describe are real. Things don’t necessarily get better, that’s the ‘Myth of Progress.’

However, what I can tell from your post is that your sense of control is external. At the same time, you’re internalizing what are really systemic failures as personal failures. Is the fact that the university and job systems are broken your fault? Of course not, so why take on every bit of the blame for that failure? Do you think everyone else is doing fundamentally better than you? Extremely doubtful and even if it appears that way, it’s an illusion.

You should try to improve your circumstances, above all else, because it is *your life.* You only get this one. What do you care about? What are your goals? What matters to you? Privacy? Family? What kind of experiences do you want to have? What kind of feelings do you wish to have?

The world feels like it is in a tailspin because in many ways, it absolutely is. But that doesn’t mean you need to be in a tailspin. This has been true for humans born across all centuries. Taking ownership over what you can control in your life, however meager it may feel in the face of war, AI, the climate, whatever, is the way to building a life worth living and there *is no other way*. It’s paradoxical, it may seem, to assert that you do have control in the face of all those monolithic global problems, but I assure you that you do.

Life is ultimately so much more about what you bring to it than what happens to you. To orient yourself solely to what happens to you, and to then also internalize all that disorder, is to live a miserable, powerless life that isn’t worth the candle.

Just speaking for myself, what I eventually realized was that what I was doing was using the plight of the world as a convenient excuse to not apply myself in my own life and take risks that were frightening to me. I think realizing that is a kind of rite of passage for many people today. **It’s not that the plight of the world isn’t real or that you were wrong to feel hopeless because of it, its that you needed time to work through all of that to find a way to a workable life that made sense to you.**

You are exactly right, and you shouldn’t engage with a system that drains you further when there is no reward for doing so.

Try to find something you don’t mind doing so you can survive, and enjoy your free time. Careers, universities, schools etc have become a scam.

You won’t live like a rich person. But you’ll survive and be more content than the people falling for the rabbit hole of college leading to a better life.
