Ne okumak istediğimi bilmiyorum

19 yaşındayım ve şu anda lisanslarım için yurtdışına kaydolmaya hazırlanıyor ama her şey çok pahalı ve ne okumayı planladığımı incelemek isteyip istemediğimi bile bilmiyorum. SE okumayı planlıyorum ama honeslty gerçekten hoşlandığımı sanmıyorum ve mutlu olmadığım bir şey yapmak için aileme para harcıyormuşum gibi geliyor. Bunun gelecekte komplikasyonlara neden olabileceğini hissediyorum. Ülkemdeki siyasi durumdan dolayı yerel bir derece izlemek de mümkün değil ve bir boşluk yılı almak ya da kırılmak için biraz fazla yaşlı hissediyorum.

Hello looks like you are one step away from beginning the college experience

Studying abroad or far away is a good idea, of course it also comes with heaping costs in the forms of student loans. Did you check if you qualify for some grants or programs? Usually top performing students utilize these kinds of things so they dont’ pay a lot of money

That being said, it looks like you are still somewhat unsure of what kind of Degree to pursue? Parent’s recommendations aren’t bad, but you should always pick a career of something you at least enjoy.

I suggest you to see a Career Counselor to weigh your options with the possibility of working for a while to raise money for abroad studies

If you could, look up to a degree abroad, spore for eg being the closest place to you. If you are good, most colleges there offer scholarship. Most likely, any future employment comes with migration opportunity. But then again, you really have to be good and the top of your game. SEA is booming with development of data centers, CS, SE, CE, EE are all in demand. Good luck.
