İşletme diplomasıyla yeni mezun oldum ve kurumsal dünyadan nefret ettiğimi fark ettim. Şimdi ne olacak?

Ben (22M) ana dalımı seçtim çünkü öyle görünüyordu "güvenli," ama stajlarımdan sonra ofis ortamı beni tamamen tüketiyor. Önümüzdeki 40 yıl boyunca bir odacıkta oturma düşüncesi beni umutsuzluğa sürüklüyor.

Neye tutkulu olduğumu bilmiyorum, sadece ne istediğimi biliyorum yapma istek. Bu pozisyonda başka biri var mı? Tamamen sıfırdan başladığınızı hissettiğinizde yeni bir yön bulmayı nasıl başardınız?

that business degree is still a tool, just not the one you thought you’d use. most people spend their 20s figuring out what they don’t want, you’re already ahead. try working with your hands, non-profits, or anything that gets you out of that cubicle. the degree checks a box, it doesn’t define you.

Contrary to popular talk, passionate isn’t built in ~ it’s discovered. It’s the perceived match between your inner cumulative curiosity and the recognition of it out in the world. And in can come as steps on a journey or to some, like an instant in a whole job. For example, take people who claim they want to help people and they think that nursing would be a way to satisfy that. But then they learn the tasks involved in that career and none of those tasks feel like it’s a match to helping people. They’re internal version of helping people doesn’t match the external tasks required to be done. You could be a therapeutic horse therapist ~ entirely different tasks but helping people.

What are things you like to do, and what are your natural inclinations physically. Try to parallel those into where do those fit into what we term a career. Some people don’t get satisfied in a career and have more than one career or a series of careers or careers and hobbies or different lifestyles. You can’t oversimplify it because there’s too many components that are critically important.

I would suggest to get off the what you don’t like track and get on to what you do like. That narrows it down, even if it includes a bit of pause and wait for the reveal from within. Some aspect of life does interest you. Ponder that. Explore that. Follow that. Another suggestion, if you are other people’s opinions the better. It’s more about the practical and how you feel about doing the practical. Research helps from those who walk before you but it can’t be everything excluding you. That’s better that’s a balance or more primarily you.

    Welcome to adulthood!

It’s a growing trend. Post uni, parties, freedom, lots of friends, free time, lots of partners or time with one love to laze around with. All gone. You’re now an adult. Reality has hit. You are a wage slave. Basically, that transition is hard for many in Gen Z.

First, be positive you have a job, many grads don’t, and quite likely AI will eventually take your job anyway within a decade, as only specialists will prosper. Admin jobs will most vaporise. So you won’t have a job that long now if you career stagnates.

Only you know what you are passionate about, maybe retrain as a hands on worker? Eg I read most lift installers and repairmen, a highly paid job, are over 60. AI can’t take these jobs – will take a lot longer before robots can really do these jobs (30-40 years). So, do you like DIY? Electricians to plumbers make real money, more than grads. I suspect many will be way richer and more fulfilled than admin staff in a cage (aka cubicle).

Also, this can be a business – make money, hire others to do the work. Could make you rich.

Have a deep look at your skill sets. We don’t know these.

Become an electrician… use your hands. Start out as a worm. Work your way up. It’s life. Get going. But yes. Electrician. They make sic money and have tons of side work
