Diploma almak istiyorum ama nereden başlayacağımı bilmiyorum
Neredeyse 7 yıl önce liseden zar zor mezun oldum ve onun ardından zamanımı nefret ettiğim çıkmaz işlerde çalışarak geçirdim.
Hs’den hemen sonra devlet üniversitesini denedim ama ilk dönem bıraktım.
Yakın zamanda bana DEHB teşhisi kondu ve yavaş yavaş hayatımı değiştiriyorum ve bu süreçte bilime ve öğrenmeye olan sevgimi yeniden kazandım ve Ar-Ge alanında umutsuzca kariyer yapmak istiyorum.
Bunu yapmak için bir diplomaya ihtiyacım olduğunu biliyorum ama aynı zamanda kendimi geçindirmek için tam zamanlı çalışmam gerekiyor. Tükenmeden veya on yıl sürmeden nasıl çalışabilirim, staj yapabilirim, araştırma deneyimi kazanabilirim ve derecem için kredi kazanabilirim?
Bahsetmiyorum bile, hangi dereceyi takip etmek istediğimi bile bilmiyorum ve bunu nasıl çözeceğimi bilmiyorum. Sadece sorularıma cevap verebilecek ve kendim için istediğim geleceğe doğru bana rehberlik edebilecek biriyle konuşmak istiyorum.
Bunu anlamama ve uygulanabilir bir plan yapmama yardımcı olacak kaynaklar konusunda tavsiyesi veya tavsiyesi olan var mı?

Just go back to the community college you started from, not a big deal. I’m doing a paralegal program at a CC right now, and my associates degree is enough for me to apply for jobs in offices, schools, etc. Just the AA, not even a four-year degree.
First, focus on getting your GE’s out of the way and get solid grades in those areas. Use that time to look at programs available (I guess in your case, it would be a degree in finance). Get involved in any small way you can on campus, and from there you could get references and contacts. Whether you want to then transfer to a four-year university is up to you. Good luck OP
It took me a while to figure things out. I dropped out of his at 15, did temp jobs and missionary work for years. I took training courses but nothing stuck.
You have ADHD, learn about what that means and lean into it. If you don’t want to burn out, the trick is to not fight your nature. You’ll get bored quickly. You’ll change your mind. You’ll lose focus.
If you want a degree, you’ll need to do it in a way that fits your neurocognitive needs. One way to do that is learn at your own pace using books and videos and web based tools, then test out of the actual courses using something like CLEP.
There are other ways to be involved with r&d as well that don’t require a degree, nor to decide on a specialty or path. Things like business administration, but more notable, I recommend seriously considering Project Management. Both of these areas of study have almost no top end in terms of pay, and are transferrable skills that apply to any type of organization, any department. You would be more organizationally involved than hands on, but it’s an option. Project Management has certifications that matter more than a degree, but even the level 1 cert isn’t explicitly necessary to get a job doing it.
