CS’deki bir ortakla mezun olmak üzereyim. CS’yi sevmediÄŸimi fark ettim. gerçekçi öneriler?
yani bu kulağa moral bozucu ve olumsuz gelecek ama dürüst olmak gerekirse şu anda benim için işler böyle ve hayatımda hiç kimseyle duygularımı paylaşmadım bu yüzden lütfen bana katlan.
19 yaşındayım, bilgisayar bilimleri alanında işe yaramaz bir önlisans derecesi ile mezun olacağım. Kodlama konusunda berbatsam, özellikle umursamıyorsam ve şu anda bilgisayar bilimleri alanında lisans eğitimine açık değilsem gerçekçi seçeneklerim nelerdir?
Her ÅŸeyi öğrenmeye oldukça açığım, programlar, ticaret, her ne ise, o kadar yorgunum ki. Åžu anda yarı zamanlı asgari ücretle çalışıyorum, bundan keyif alıyorum ama bağımsızlığıma yetecek kadar kazanmıyorum. Ben sadece “yetiÅŸkinlere uygun” para kazanabileceÄŸim bir iÅŸ istiyorum, tercihen günün dışında düşünmek zorunda olmadığım bir iÅŸ. Herhangi bir kurumsal merdiveni tırmanmak ya da zengin olmak umurumda deÄŸil.
O kadar tükenmiş durumdayım ki, yıllardır bu konuda stres yapıyorum, hâlâ kendimi kapana kısılmış hissediyorum ve hiçbir fikrim yok. iyi olduğum/yapmaktan keyif aldığım bazı şeyler:
yazma, pişirme, matematikle ilgili beceriler, video oyunları, video oluşturma/düzenleme, temizlik
bir süreliğine ux/ui tasarımını da denedim ve sorun olmadı
(Sıralayabildiğim tek şeyin bunlar olması üzücü. Kendimi tutkudan o kadar yoksun hissediyorum ki, iç çekiyorum)

I wouldn’t be quite so negative on your performance so far. Having a CS associates doesn’t seem like an awful start at all. Especially at 19. I got an AS in Gen Studies finished right before I turned 30. Currently working on a civil engineering undergrad. I’m not sure where it’s going to take me yet.. but my goal is this. The older I get the more I realize the truth in what people say when you find something you can do to pay the bills, you can try and then fund your passions. It’s an unfortunate reality, but a very real one. I can’t give you a good recommendation on a direction to go from here, but I can tell you from experience it doesn’t really get easier. The more you can set yourself up on earlier on, the better off you’ll be. You’ve already made some great moves and you’re still very young. Go try some jobs, try new experiences, make new friends. The secret is to make the best of it.
Isn’t ux/ui computer science related?
One way to look at it, is that you’ve learned how to make computers do things. And that’s good knowledge to have. But when you’re working there’s often more of an emphasis on the process that the computers support. And if you’re on the support – and maybe the ux/ui side you might find that working is better than going to school.
OR, if you’re good – or if you can get good at doing some personal projects then finding a trade apprenticeship program (ideally with a union), is a great way to go.
But whatever you do, you’ll find that over the years what you learned in your CS program will make it worth the time and effort that you put into it.
