   First of all, calm down. Take a deep breath. You are not alone in feeling this way- many people don’t use their degrees cause they don’t want to.

   Today, the world is more flexible, so your degree can be fine for other fields. Business is a wide and unspecified degree which is great cause it allows you to try many different career options.

   This is not the end of your life. Some professions regardless of how relevant they are to business- require a first degree in some way.

   Many people wish they could have a degree but they can’t afford it. So appreciate the decisions your past self made. You’ve learned, you’ve grown and now you can set off a different path for the future.

   Finishing a degree isn’t easy. Sleepless nights, projects, stress, shitty professors, good professors, it’s a complicated journey. So I’m so proud of you!

   start over again because it’s costing you your mental health which is very important to manage in order to live a happy life, you’re 24, i’m 24. we have time. you won’t be behind, that’s all in our heads, you’ll be exactly where you should be. Like i said, same age as you and you’re finishing a degree while i’m just starting mine. It’s also the way you look at it, i understand if you’re in fear because so was/am i, im trying to work with it. But i feel, i honestly feel like we’ll be okay.

   What you love might not lead to good job prospects or make good money. You may not be able to find stable work in what you’re passionate about. Most people don’t work in jobs they love, they work to fund the things they love outside of work.

   I was 23 when I dropped out of my business degree and started from scratch on a nursing degree. Even then I was able to transfer some credits. I was miserable in business even tho I thought it was “practical”.

   Now the work is still hard but at least I’m changing and saving lives and I love the health sciences.

   You despise your degree? Why? You can likely flip it into something you enjoy, or a field you enjoy.

   ymmv but I did experience going from despising tech at one point when i was struggling a lot and the learning curve was too steep to loving it once i got to a certain level and was able to make cool stuff and routinely get good feedback.
