AI (LLM) eğitimi dünyasından nasıl çıkıp daha az zararlı bir alana nasıl geçilir? Burada bunu yapan var mı?

honestly no one in nonprofits or food safety is gonna blacklist you for doing annotation work, most folks barely know what that is and just care that you can follow guidelines and handle boring detail work, which actually maps really well to ops, admin, qa type roles, just start framing your current work as quality focused and process focused when you apply and ignore the ai guilt angle, only thing that sucks is everything hiring right now is super slow and weird, getting any job is a grind
the fact that you’re thinking critically about the impact of your work already puts you ahead of most people in tech. a lot of folks in AI never stop to ask whether what they’re building is net positive.a few things worth considering though. your data annotation background is actually more transferable than you think, and not just to ops or QA roles. nonprofits and food safety orgs increasingly need people who understand how data systems work, how information gets structured, how quality control applies to data pipelines. that’s literally what you’ve been doing. the framing matters more than the actual job title.the “AI guilt” angle is something I’d actually lean into in interviews, not away from. if you’re applying to mission-driven orgs, saying “I saw firsthand how these systems work and I want to use that knowledge to protect people rather than train models” is a genuinely compelling story. it shows values, self-awareness, and relevant technical [literacy.food](http://literacy.food) safety specifically has a growing need for people who understand data integrity. FDA compliance, HACCP documentation, supply chain traceability all involve structured data work. look into food science programs or certifications if you want to formalize it, but your annotation experience with attention to detail and following complex guidelines maps surprisingly well.don’t let imposter syndrome convince you that wanting to do meaningful work somehow disqualifies you from it.
