32 yaşında, şiddetli bir suçtan hüküm giymiş. Hangi alanda diploma almalıyım?
Lütfen, lütfen yardım edin. Bu yıl okula geri dönmeye karar verdim ama ne yapacağımı bilmiyorum. Çevrimiçi olarak iki yıllık bir önlisans derecesi almak istiyorum, ancak ne yapacağıma dair hiçbir fikrim yok. En çok hangi derecelerle yapabilirim? Psikoloji, danışmanlık, etik, beslenme ile ilgileniyorum ve aynı zamanda kendimi İnsan Kaynakları alanında çalışırken de görebiliyorum. Sosyoloji ve hukuk da ilgimi çekiyor. Lütfen biri bana yardım etsin, çok kayboldum. 21-26 yaşımı cezaevinde, 26-28 yaşımı ev hapsinde, 24-30 yaşımı ise ağır bağımlılıkta geçirdim. Sonunda kendimi toparlıyorum ve bir diplomaya ihtiyacım olduğunu biliyorum. Artık kasiyer olarak çalışmıyorum ve bir işim var, bu yüzden ilk adımları attım ama geleceğimde sadece bir iş değil, bir kariyer istiyorum. İlgi alanlarımla ilgisi olmayan şeyler önermekten çekinmeyin çünkü bunlar benim tek ilgi alanım değil, sadece asıl ilgi alanlarım. Neredeyse her şeye açığım hahaha. Second the trade/specialty revocation. Especially self employment. Owning a landscaping business etc. you don’t need to reinvent the wheel.
A career in addiction may be different, but still very much uphill climb.
You will most probably not get hired in social services professions. College may not be fruitful.
I recommend getting a career counselor with specializes in these trade professions.
My friend. College degrees are not a solution by themselves. Just an obstacle to hurdle. If you truly want to pursue a path, think about computers and learning either to code or to work with AI. Build a service, a business, or perhaps pick up a trade. HVAC industries are hurting right now for folks. Welders, Miners, Roughnecks(FIFO[Flown in/Flown out] careers), All of these blue collar industries are constantly looking for people. Electrician, Plumber, Heavy Equipment operator. These are the degrees that translate into jobs. Learn to code while picking up a trade. Get a few side hustles going. Open up your own company. You’re very young, so if you devote 8 – 10 years( +/- 2years to learn a trade and secure employment, +/- 2 years to teach yourself basic AI and Coding procedures, and spend the rest of the time crafting a business, building apps, setting yourself up for success, by the time you are 40ish, you will have done well for yourself and can focus on more long-term plans and goals. Start with improving your skills with a trade. It’s hard work, but if you have a plan going into it, the money you earn from these trades can build the foundations of everything else you set yourself towards. Best of luck to you!
of the ones you listed, HR maybe the toughest one you may have issues landing a job in due to sensitive information you could be handling. Law would be 2nd especially when it comes to taking the bar.
