Herkese merhaba, buradaki baÅŸlık her ÅŸeyi söylüyor.

Are you in the UK? I have been unemployed since January and I’m going to be starting a job in September, but before then I did actually apply for care jobs and I got interviewed and actually got the job offer. I know care work might not be appealing but it’s money and it’ll teach good skills. As for a CV, ik people don’t really like chat GPT but just write a paragraph of any skills you have any things you’ve done any grades of you wanna put them down, say about yourself that you’re willing to put in effort work as a team etc like I did that for each individual job so say I was applying for a care job I’d cater the CV mainly to that, and if it was like a job in Tesco I’d change it again. Chat GPT can make you a CV if you ask for it to be on a pdf or you can just copy it onto word. You can also try agencies if you contact them they may have some temporary work etc. if you wanna get some qualifications or training you could try do an apprenticeship and get in contact with some apprenticeship programs as they are for beginners anyway and you’ll learn all the skills as you go along.

I’m 20 too. I worked in a restaurant for 6 months during a levels but that’s my only ever experience. I just got a job as a teaching assistant. You don’t have to have tons of experience for most things. I know how annoying it is all these job applications they always decline like I was unemployed for basically the whole year until now. You can also try doing online courses and building some skills up. Also if you’re interested in getting a degree or diploma or certificates you can try the open university online as you don’t need any grades and you can practically do any degree you want.

As for jobs, try agencies, care work, message independent business in your city on Facebook or email them, cafes and restaurants, try supermarkets but sometimes they always declined me but best to try. And if not then try maybe some volunteering in like a charity shop or church or whatever as that can build some skills you can put on your CV 🙂

Step 1 – you’ve done it! You’ve got sufficiently upset with yourself that you’re truly driven to make a change in your life. Keep this. Channel it. Apathy will cause you to sit at home for another 5 years. Be angry. Be motivated.

Step 2 – let’s get specific about your goals! You want a job. But what? Are you ok with fast food, retail, day laboring, waiting tables at a restaurant or for catering, banking, a trade, and office job? Come up with a big long list. This will then inform Step 3.

Step 3 – For what you chose in Step 2, do you need additional schooling, training, or a certification? If so, go get that!

Step 4 – Apply! For entry-level jobs, or even jobs straight out of college, its actually extremely normal to have bare looking resumes. It’s also OK to embellish a little. I think you’ve been at college this whole time.. or you’ve been a care-taker.. or you’ve been helping a parent with accounting.. don’t outright make shit up. But embellish to your hearts content.

Step 5 – Get some experience while you’re applying. Volunteer. Develop a skill. Do etsy, fiver, dog sitting.. something!

First thing I would do before anything is address your health concerns and see a doctor to find out what’s going on with your legs, that’s quite concerning.

But if I was in your position I would just apply for literally any entry level position, even if it’s fast food, cashiering, or a warehouse gig to get some work experience to make you more employable in the future. Use ChatGPT to help you generate a resume. Your first job might suck, but you gotta do something to start making money and building skills for your future career.
