How do I stop saying “bazinga” in response to tragedy?
Hi all, I’ve been a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory for about ten years now, and a lot of things from the show have steeped into my everyday vocabulary. One issue with this is that, for a couple months now, I’ve been saying “bazinga” in response to bad things. It started off small, like when I’d drop a cup or step on my cat’s paw, but it’s become a huge problem. I have so far said “bazinga” I response to:

My mother’s death.

My wife injuring herself and needing to permanently use a cane.

My son nearly getting molested by one of his teachers (he fortunately managed to get away).
Quite frankly, everyone’s sick of it, myself included. “Bazinga” is tearing my family apart. How do I stop?
