25 yaşında, işletme mezunu, düşük ücretli staj… ve eskiden ticaretle uğraşan adamlar restoran işletiyor.
25 yaşındayım.
İşletme diplomam var.
Çok az para kazandıran bir staj yapıyorum.
Ve açıkçası hayal kırıklığına uğradım.
Sadece para yüzünden değil.
Çok çalışmanın ötesinde olduğumu düşündüğüm için değil.
Ama etrafıma baktığımda, birlikte büyüdüğüm, 18 ya da 20 yaşlarında sınırda ya da açıkça yasa dışı şeyler yapan insanlar görüyorum… ve şimdi restoranları var, patronlara hesap vermiyorlar, güzel arabalar kullanıyorlar ve iyi yaşıyor gibi görünüyorlar.
“Doğru” yolu seçtim.
Çalışmak. Temiz kal. Sağlam temeller oluşturun. Uzun vadeli düşünün.
Ve şu anda bu yol yavaş geliyor. Neredeyse aşağılayıcı.
Acı veren şey saf kıskançlık değil.
Şüphe bu.
Yanlış strateji mi seçtim?
Sistem aslında kurallara göre oynayanlar yerine aşırı risk alan kişileri mi ödüllendiriyor?
Dünyanın gerçekte nasıl çalıştığı konusunda saflık mı yapıyorum?
Mantıksal olarak resmin tamamını göremediğimi biliyorum.
Borçları, baskıyı, riskleri, tavizleri görmüyorum.
Kısayol istemiyorum. Yasadışı bir şeyin üzerine hiçbir şey inşa etmek istemiyorum.
Ancak 25 yaşında, çok az kazandığınızda ve başkalarının “ileriye” baktığını izlediğinizde, uzun vadeli argüman soyut geliyor.
Motivasyonel klişeler aramıyorum.
Gerçekten soruyorum:
Şüpheli ama hızlı yollar seçen insanlarla karşılaştırıldığında kendini geride hisseden başka biri var mı?
Daha yavaş ve daha temiz bir rotaya sadık kalmak gerçekten işe yaradı mı?
Bu hayal kırıklığının normal bir aşama mı olduğunu yoksa yaklaşımımı yeniden düşünmem gerektiğinin bir işareti mi olduğunu anlamaya çalışıyorum.

I might be misreading this but it sounds like this is a difference of…..motivation and action…. You went about doing the “right” thing and nothing much else like a drone. These guys learned from the ground up and struggled hard,had to really pull themselves up and can benefit from that now. You went to class and read books while these dudes had to do all kinds of crazy shit to survive the harsh real world. Sure they did bad things but hey so does……everyone to varying degrees. They hustled and you didn’t is what it comes down to.
No your not alone but it takes more than most people imagine to start a legitimate business.
Business owners have huge respect for each other because you cant really describe the weight on your shoulders.
Sure you make more money, but your risks are so much higher as well.
I made 32k at my first internship with two advanced degrees one from an Ivy. It took me about 6 months to get that job. Worked for three years there watching friends from similar stories do similar things as your friends. I felt beaten down.
But after the first job and the experience I jumped to significantly more pay, better job and then two years later did it again and then I started my first business, 15 years later I started my 2nd business and this year I started my third and am looking forward to early retirement. The exponential growth is more possible with the route you went on. Don’t beat yourself up for where you are it’s just a step, keep looking for the next jump and be ready to take it. Have faith in your abilities. Best of luck.
