Top Tier: SEOs sharing ideas, debating whats real/changing in SEO. You’ll see SEOs on the edge of whats been doing more, growth hacking, the top end of research. Its where the Google API leak broke ( i shared Mike’s post from there to here in seconds) – where SEJ, SER, SEL post,
Middle Tier – a lot of middle SEOs debating, discussing SEO – its probably the most active platform for whats real in SEO and realtiy
Lowest Tier: tens of thousands of SEO bros posting pump+dump SEO training schemes, get rich quick, pointless cases studies, spam, SEO checklists, pure spam because there’s no filter. Well there is a filter- you just dont follow them and you just wont hear them – they’re just posting into the void thinking they’re doing SEO and SM – its funny, sad and easy to silence.
But for finding clients…..nah
Nope (in short).
A social media full of spammers and wannabes.
If you are a top 10% SEO influencer, yes-ish. X is one piece of the puzzle.
Otherwise, no. Unless you serve a specific niche audience, social media is rarely a good source of leads.
