Ranking is mainly content and links. Forex is a shark tank when it comes to SEO, even more since the ability to advertise via paid channels like Google Ads is limited, so the competition for organic rankings is even more fierce.
So, having a great site is far from enough. I’d have a look at the backlink profiles of your major competitors on page one and then honestly assess if you have deep enough pockets to ever compete.
Not saying you should abandon the project, but you have to be aware you are dealing with extremely strong and established players/affiliates, there is a lot of money involved, some brokers offer CPAs of $1k+. On top, it’s traditionally a blackhat heavy niche, so expect competitors who are really good at ranking sites efficiently.
