JSON+LD schema.org markup can be added anywhere on the page and it will be picked up just fine. It is recommended in the <head>, but not a hard requirement.
You can have some schema.org global markup and page-specific markup
Depending on the content management system, the <head> doesn’t have to be global. You can have unique <head> markup per page.
Schema is unique to each page. It should contain breadcumb schema which varies, and different types based on page content. For example, organization type is important but only used on the home page. It does not have to be in the header. Try adding it your webpage content before the H1 title. Use [schema.org](http://schema.org) validator to test the live url, not the code snippet test. It’s the best way to make sure it’s working.
you can add it wherever you want, but `Website` is usually added to head for ease of management since it will usually apply to all pages, then you can have specific Schema by blocks in the body for more control.
