   Focus on building the best brand you can across all channels and you’ll accomplish everything you want with SEO, social, etc.

   The goal is to get users to search for your site and products by name.

   It’s no follow

   And yes I know at least one person from personal experience who told me that he posted his link too many times in Reddit and that domain was banned

   I do on occasion myself post a helpful article as a comment if a sub allows it.

   You will gain more of a web presence because Google indexes Reddit so quickly, but in terms of SEO it will not increase the ranking of your web page or website.
