You need to understand topical authority / pagerank.
Stop paining authority out of SEO.
Does your client know you are “faking it until you make it?”
And the Lighthouse score is not important at all.
Seems you’re majoring in the minor. Build authority, clean-up obvious technical areas and get high intent topics. These are the majors.
Its of no importance.
Its a nice to have at best
A high Lighthouse score is great for user experience, but it is not a direct ranking factor in most competitive niches. Core Web Vitals matter, so if your pages are fast and stable, that can help with engagement metrics and indirectly support SEO. In a competitive SaaS space, content relevance, backlinks, and on page optimization are still going to move the needle much more than a perfect Lighthouse score. Think of it as a hygiene factor rather than a differentiator.
