I’d update the photos and videos on the gbp regularly. But in some situations where there’s not a lot of competition, posting on Facebook and next door regularly can be really good. In our small town there’s a donut shop that literally posts something every single day. So,times it’s just about their happy hour or their hours for today. They post on their page but also the area fb groups. This biz is killing it, they sell out every day. I know a few other restaurants in the area do this as well. Make it a routine every day, it’s more about branding and being top of mind for people in your area.

Honestly, combining solid topic authority with local search strategies is usually what makes things finally click for most people. Make sure your Google Business Profile is fully optimized and your content matches real user intent.

I think a lot of business owners ask themselves if Google, theoretically, could bring them more clients. And when then answer yes, they proceed to SEO.
In reality, your time is limited. So I think you should ask yourself if SEO is the *best* use of it – bc I don’t think it honestly is in every situation.
You could probably host a game night, or an event w another group, or do something to bring new ppl in each week/month just from your social media presence + local networking . If you’re in a small city, I think that’s a much easier strategy to execute. SEO will see diminishing returns (if the area is small enough where ppl know most bars). And I don’t hear many ppl say “i found this cool bar on google search,” whereas “my friends invited me and I thought it was fun so I came back” seems like a better entry point.
Topical authority and local SEO would help strengthen your online presence. The fact you dont have any nearby competitors means you should be able to dominate that local SEO.
