Unless you did something specific, re-writing the content isn’t going to change much. Google can’t tell if all of the content in the world is good or not, its a bit much for a search engine….even LLMs dont know.
Reinforcing your hub and spoke only makes sense if you do it following authority flow – Google doesnt try to assess websites and look at pages linking together.
this is the problem : we’ve painted Authority/PageRank out of SEO and think that crawlers (aka spiders) – look at websites in totality and navigation
Links just pass and shape authority. If your pages have no traffic, you can be pretty sure that they are doing nothing
If your page was ranking on page 4 and all you did is update content – I’d bde 90% sure nothing will happen.
If you de-indexed your page and picked a new keyword target by republishing your document – I’d be 90% sure something positive will happen
