I’d expect so as they will need to access and check settings within Shopify.
If you don’t want them to fix anything then they don’t need admin
Shouldn’t need admin but access to modify files yes. Most likely they need access to modify a setting or a theme file to fix a console issue.
If you don’t feel comfortable, just ask what settings need to be modified and you adjust. More than likely it’s theme modifications.
