Authority, Authority, Authority.
ChatGPT is not “trained” on SEO because all of the blogs on SEO are just subjective opinions
Crawled not indexed and Discovered not indexed literally means:
1. Google has a copy of your page (you can actually ask to see it)
2. There were NO TECHNICAL ISSUES, ERRORS or IMPEDIMENTS – no 404, 301, 5xx
3. An XML sitemap WILL NOT HELP

Go to the most relevant page, find a relevant keyword and link to your catering business page
Crawl JUST THAT page
u/WebLinkr Is referring to an internal link. Select a page in your site that is indexed and that has organic traffic. Add a link on it that points to the bartending page. Make sure the link text clearly identifies what the link is about, like “Bartending services”. Have GSC recrawl that page.
Problem
Your bartending page isn’t indexing because Google sees the same bartending content duplicated across 9+ location pages. Each location page (Chicago, River Forest, Oak Park, Hinsdale, etc.) contains nearly identical bartending descriptions with only the city name swapped out. Google’s algorithm interprets this as: “This bartending content already exists in multiple places, so the dedicated /bartending-services/ page is redundant.” When the same keyword phrases like “professional bartending services,” “craft custom cocktails,” and “polished, attentive service for weddings, house parties, corporate events” appear verbatim across 10+ URLs, Google picks one version to index and ignores the rest. Your main bartending page lost that competition to the location pages.
Solution
Remove or drastically reduce the bartending sections on all location pages. Replace the full paragraphs with a single sentence and link, for example: “We also offer bartending services for Chicago events.” Do this for every location page. The detailed bartending content should exist only on /bartending-services/. After making these changes, wait one to two weeks, then request indexing through Search Console. Google will now see your bartending page as the sole authority for bartending content on your site, and it will index.
Check for noindex, rel=canonical, redirects or soft-404. Ensure sitemap/internal links, add unique local content and request indexing.
