Sites like Medium are vast – and many people use Medium to co-rank or host parasitic SEO content. That means they may have chosen a slug that is synonymous to yours. Once a slug is picked for a keyword, no other slug will get a chance to compete, unless you apply more authority – in which case you first run the risk of cannibalized blocking – blockign each other out of the SERPs.
Secondly, these pages aren’t linked from anything – so how does Google find it? Also, if thats the case, it has no authority – its not going to get indexed.
If you think posting on Medium is some SEO trick – then SEO might not be for you.
You need to understand pagerank and topical authority: Pages need links: medium doesnt get a pass to have everything indexed.
My advice: go do link building propertly
Medium Parasite was something of early 2025 trend. It got abused to !@$%. It may still work – I haven’t looked into it for a minute. Where there is an exit for others, there may be an entry for the few.
# The articles I published on Medium are not being indexed by Google. The indexes of existing articles have also been removed. Medium has become a useless site.
