Cody, you didn’t get cancelled for being a conservative. Literally NO one gives a fuck, what they care about is you consistently rocking every boat under the sun to the point of capsizing. NASCAR is a professional sport, one funded by corporate partnerships, probably more so than any other sport in the US. To be a professional driver, you’re expected to represent yourself in a professional manor. All your terrible takes, constant shit posting, and all the other BS you post on social media aside, you literally didn’t check a single box under being a “professional”. Showing up to signings in tank tops, having the cockiest attitude toward your team and competitors, just being a genuine mess across the board, there was no way you were ready and or understood the responsibility that came with being a driver in this sport.

Dude, people warned you, gave you advice, you had a leash longer than most, and you still did everything in your power to make sure that you pissed it away.

Posting homophobic memes about the LGBT community, posting racist shit, attacking other countries constantly, literally starting your truck series career off with a tweet THE DAY AFTER YOU ANNOUNCED YOUR DEAL, attacking a country that your fucking team owner was literally a citizen of.. Like how fucking dumb can you ACTUALLY be?!?

You had every chance under the sun to get this right dude. You didn’t have to agree with anyone, you didn’t have to change your views, you just had to shut the fuck up and be a representable human being, with despite being given every opportunity to do so, you just couldn’t do.
