Üniversite bir seçenek değilken perakende satıştan nasıl çıkabilirim?
Yaklaşık iki yıldır perakende sektöründe çalışıyorum. Kasiyer olarak baÅŸladım ve ÅŸu anda malların organize edilmesi ve stoklanmasıyla ilgileniyorum. Uzun lafın kısası, perakende satıştan çıkmak istiyorum – bu sadece ruhumu tüketti. Çalıştığım yerde benim için de kariyer olma ÅŸansı neredeyse yok ve açıkçası, istemediÄŸim çeÅŸitli nedenlerden dolayı buradan bıktım. Yine de benim için neyin iyi olacağından emin deÄŸilim ve seçeneklerim üniversiteye gidemeyeceÄŸim gerçeÄŸiyle sınırlı (en az dört yıllık – üstlenmek zorunda kalacağım mali yük nedeniyle ÅŸu anda benim için uygun olacağını düşünmüyorum) ve ÅŸu anda bir arabam yok (toplu taşıma kullanıyorum ve ÅŸehir merkezine tek seferde ulaÅŸabiliyorum, ki bu çok büyük). Hayatımın kontrolünü elime almaya çalışıyorum ve bu iÅŸten çıkana kadar bunun gerçekleÅŸeceÄŸini sanmıyorum. Burada periÅŸan durumdayım ve yarı zamanlı çalışırken faturalarımı ödeyemiyorum. Kendimi kapana kısılmış hissediyorum ve bu durum ne kadar uzun sürerse zihinsel durumum o kadar kötüleÅŸiyor.
Perakendeden çıkmak için ne yapmalıyım? Hangi beceriler aktarılabilir ve bu beceriler için hangi roller iyi olabilir? Cebinden ödeme yapmak anlamına gelse bile, sertifikalara veya iki yıllık önlisans derecelerine gitmeye değer mi?

As much as some people are going to show up claiming do demand gloom, the best thing you can do is learn how to write software. And to be clear, get your hands dirty on the first day. If you sit there watching YouTube videos you won’t really learn anything.
Spend your first month with something like teachyourselfcs.com – and while you’re doing it, brainstorm a stupid app idea every day. After that first month is over, no matter how far you got, go start writing that app and publish it on either the Apple App Store or the Google Play store. Go through that process see you understand what publishing is like. That will probably take you a couple more months.
Once you’re through that, you’ll have come up with a dozen other things you’d like to build. Keep building. Start thinking about a problem you can solve that someone else hasn’t solved and that you might make money doing.
Connect with groups online who are building apps and trying to make money. Start identifying the things everybody tries, and don’t waste your time on those. Meet people at solo developer meetups. Network. And then start looking for a software engineering job.
