So you use the amulet as defense, you try to go along with a worn out joke nobody cares about, a feeble attempt at being relevant. Remember the amulet? Wasn’t that funny? You try to convince yourself that others are in on the joke, your joke, by this point, your entire personality, when really, there is nothing.
