Profesörümün beni sınıfın önünde küçük düşürmesinden korkuyorum, şimdi ne yapmalıyım?
Herkese merhaba, gerçekten tavsiyeye ihtiyacım var çünkü kendimi kapana kısılmış hissediyorum ve korkuyorum.
Geçenlerde profesörümle aynı fikirde değildim, her zamanki gibi kadın düşmanı yorumlarda bulunuyordu, ona kibarca ve saygılı bir şekilde seslendim. Bunu normal bir şekilde tartışmak yerine herkesin önünde bana hakaret etti, çok sert konuştu ve beni tamamen aşağılanmış hissettirdi. Kaba ya da saygısız değildim, sadece sakin bir şekilde fikrimi ifade ettim. Söylediklerimi dinlemedi bile.
O zamandan beri aşırı stresliyim. Açıkçası artık üniversiteye gitmekten korkuyorum. Zihinsel tacize uğramak ya da tehdit edilmek için değil, ders çalışmak için ücret ödüyorum ama suçlananın ben olduğumu hissediyorum.
Daha da canımı acıtan şey, çevremdeki bazı insanların “Neden onunla aynı fikirde olmadın?” gibi şeyler söylemesi. “Bir öğrenci olarak karşılık vermemelisin.” “Bir şey söylemen senin hatan.”
Yanlış bir şey yapmamış olmama rağmen kendimi tamamen yalnız hissediyorum.
İç notlarımı kasten düşüreceğinden ya da pratiklerde bana haksız davranacağından endişeleniyorum. Bu korkunun derslerimi mahvetmesini istemiyorum ama kendimi nasıl koruyacağımı ya da işleri daha da kötüleştirmeden kime başvuracağımı bilmiyorum.

You are paying for that education and deserve to be treated with respect.
I don’t really have a plan of action for you but we have a professor at our university who’s the exact same. Extremely misandrist, the ultimate strawman of a leftist you can fit in one hateful man-hating gremlin. She singles out a random student at the start of every semester to bully them all the time, goes into a fit of rage if you call an alien a “little guy”, calls 2001: A Space Odyssey the “most overrated garbage white colonialist power fantasy” despite being a film teacher herself.
Once the semester is through (which should be soon enough if you’re in most US universities), you can deliberately avoid the professor and make fun of them all you’d like going forwards. Take solace in knowing that those types of people are typically small-minded sorts who don’t have as much upward mobility as they think they deserve; so they lash out against the world exerting what little power they do have so they can derive some amount of sadistic satisfaction over their sad lives. Once you reframe it that way you can’t help but feel pity for them (but never sad!).
