Ne tür kurumsal işler, iş bulmak için diploma gerektirmez?
Her zaman giriş seviyesinde çalışıp yukarıya doğru çalışarak kurumsal bir işe girebileceğinizi düşündüm. Demek istediğim, şirketlerin üniversiteye gitmeniz ve diploma veya beceri kazanmanız için size para ödediği doğru mu? Yoksa sizi daha yüksek bir pozisyona geçmeniz için mi eğitiyorlar? kurumsal işler nedir ve nasıl çalışır gibi. neden bu kadar çok insan bu alanda çalışmayı tercih ediyor? iş güvenliği sağladıkları için mi, daha yüksek maaş mı, fiziksel emek değil mi?

You’re gonna need some higher education to get a secure, high paying job. You could work your way up but when it comes time to apply to a higher position you will be competing with multiple people that most likely have degrees. It’s not impossible, but it will be difficult.
Entry level requires Masters for many corpo jobs these days. I was able to work corpo for a while by getting hired based on vibes but no matter how high you go (which won’t be high at all) you’re going to reach an artificial ceiling without an undergrad degree.
After getting mine I noticed that so many of my new (hired after me) colleagues had a masters which signalled a market shift for “qualified candidates”.
A doctorate, however, will leave you excluded because they know you will expect more than they are able to pay. And outside of a research environment, depending on the field, your advanced knowledge won’t be utilized at all.
It sucks.
You can try the traditional mail room route, or finding administrative assistant jobs, but those are so niche and specific in nature that you are pigeonholed into that being your career..
That’s the way it used to be years ago, but it’s not that way now.
The way I have seen so many people talk about how they have internships and masters degree and they can only get a part-time entry job. I know I’m unfortunately part of this issue.
We’re in a very bad situation now where people are not retiring because they can’t afford to, so younger workers are not moving up the ladder which means the incoming college students are not getting entry-level jobs, because the generation before them is still stuck in their entry-level job.
I don’t mean to be discouraging, but I just want to prepare you that if you are interested in getting a corporate job, you are going to be applying against people who do have a college degree. And when you’re looking at two resumes one with a college degree and one without, that degree has already given them an advantage over you.
But I know college is very expensive so whatever you do decide to go into make sure that it’s something that you are interested in.
You’ll need higher education to make much. You can start at the bottom and work your way into some higher roles if they really like you, but you will hit a ceiling. The only real exception is sales, maybe customer service. And even then, they will probably want someone with at least some experience and/or references.
Corporations have all kinds of people working for them, from HR, marketing, tech, finance and so on. If you are interested in any of those kinds of jobs, you will need at least a 4 year degree in a related area. I’ve even seen some of these roles ask for master degrees.
‘Start from the bottom and work your way up’ is thing of the past in most industries.
entry level call center, customer support, claims, admin assistant, data entry, some sales gigs don’t need a degree, but pay is low and promotions move slow unless you’re lucky or know people yeah some pay tuition but only after a year or two the “job security and growth” stuff is way overrated now, everything’s outsourced, metrics, layoffs nonstop finding even those jobs is stupid hard right now
You can try receptionist or admin assistant. Business related educations are preferred but those typically don’t have it as a requirement.
You can then try working your way up from there but some kind of education will probably be needed later on for growth.

That used to be the case but not often anymore. The only viable routes are either to enter as an administrative assistant, or be such a killer self-educated engineer that they have to hire you.
