   Hello, I used to be close to someone who “started fresh” a few times which involved forsaking her entire family and her sisters.

   I suggest two things to think about:

   Are you 100% comfortable with completely cutting off your family ties? As in no matter what happens on both ends, both parties just walk away

   Do you have sufficient funding and a working plan to support yourself? Migrating somewhere far does mean you have to pay for a lot of things most people in families don’t
