İşletme Yönetimi ve Psikoloji arasında sıkışıp kaldım – dürüst tavsiyeye ihtiyacım var
Gerçekten kafam karıştı ve gerçekçi tavsiyeleri takdir ediyorum.
Bir İngiliz üniversitesinde (Gürcistan’da bulunan) İşletme Yönetimi veya Kutaisi Uluslararası Üniversitesi’nde (KIU) Psikoloji okumak arasında seçim yapıyorum.
Sorun şu:
• I’m interested in psychology, but I don’t know if I actually want to become a psychologist.
• I also like management, project management, and marketing.
• I’m not 100% sure about either path.
• I’m planning to do a master’s degree in the future.
• I care about having stable income and career flexibility.
Psikolojiyi seçip, sonra psikolog olarak çalışmak istemediğimi fark etmekten korkuyorum.
Ama aynı zamanda işletmeyi seçip daha sonra psikoloji okumadığıma pişman olmaktan da korkuyorum.

Where do you plan on working long term after graduating? In Georgia? In the UK? Perhaps somewhere else? Be sure to research the legal requirements to become a psychologist wherever it is that you intend to live and work. The fun thing about university studies is that it provides an opportunity to explore more than a single interest. Why not start out as a business major, but then take some psychology courses as part of your general studies electives? The business major will unquestionably provide you with more long term flexibility and opportunities. Psychology is very niche and it’s often considered a worthless degree outside of becoming a psychologist or pursuing graduate school. If you take those psychology classes and find that psychology is actually a passion you wish to pursue, then you can easily switch majors. However if you find that you don’t actually care all that much for those courses, then you just stick with the business major. Some schools allow you to pickup a minor in addition to your major. That might be an option for you as well. You could also consider doing a double major where you fulfill the requirements for both degrees and graduate with both.
