Hiç 9-5 çalışmazsam ne kadar berbat olurum?
24M.
Nüfusun yalnızca yüzde 5’i bu miktarı ayda kazanıyor.

I screwed my 20’s. What i understood now is that. It is better to get initially a high paying job and work side by side on what you wanna do. Better not to skip but keep an exit strategy. Because you need money
Your 20s are for building and setting yourself up for your later years. Get a job now, save your inheritance and figure out your exit while banking as much as you can.
Potential earnings and experience is what you could be loosing.
do yourself a favor with that inheritance. Invest it and let it grow. Work while your young body can.Â
what a lot of 40/50 yr olds experience is age discrimination. you become less receptive to learning new things and dealing with the age gap of coworkers.
It’s really difficult to get a tolerable job with an ok salary at 24 with no experience. Do you think employers would prefer a 32 year old with no experience?Â
I would suggest getting a regular job for a little bit so you know how to “work for yourself” when the time comes. I had a buddy that dropped out of high school and worked as a security guard at a grocery store for a few years before creating his own car detailing business. He’s been running his own shop for over a decade now and I doubt he’ll ever get a “normal” job because he loves being his own boss. However, he works 10-12 hour days, 6 days a week. His business is his baby.
I would also try to network with other entrepreneurs and learn how they’ve created successful businesses for themselves. Good luck!
In this economy? Absolutely screwed. You’re living in La la land if you think you can get by in this world without working. You don’t have to do a 9-5 forever you can use it as a stepping stone to fund what you really wanna do but you certainly need one to do anything at all. Good luck
I would take that inheritance and invest it safely. I would much rather have that nest egg build up for when I really need it later in life.
You’re young and assuming able-bodied so it’s best to work now and put that inheritance to work for you later
I wish I could get a.9-5
It’s all about self actualization (Maslow hierarchy??) . You want to feel like you accomplished something. But there are things you enjoy doing and things you don’t. And things that pay well and things that don’t.
You want to find where accomplishment meets enjoyment meets pays well. That’s the goal. If you get that from a 9-5, kudos to you
As far as not working a 9-5, totally ok but just understand you have more control AND more responsibility AND no one else to blame.
Don’t blow through your inheritance. That’s just stupid. It’s free, found money. Save it. Invest it.
Get an education, certification, whatever. Get a job. Learn to live and support yourself without the inheritance.
How much we talking in inheritance? You could probably
Make it last you forever if you invest it properly
Whatever you end up doing in life, PLEASE don’t EVER get recruited into a Multi-Level Marketing company such as Amway, Herbalife, Vector/Cutco, Q Sciences, LegalShield, etc. They make their money based on commissions and MOST IMPORTANTLY recruitment, and their selling points would be like “I quit my 9-5 so I can make more money with a flexible job like this and spend more time with my daughter ♡” but really she might be physically there but mommy has to be on her phone 24/7 to recruit people and tell everyone about how amazing a product is or else she won’t be able to feed her daughter
I think you should be open about the amount, we can all be anonymous here anyway, and post on a fire subreddit
if your yield is already in the top 5% then you are essentially retired. Just go and have fun. Like if I had 200 billion in savings trust me I would not be working at burger king flipping burgers for $7/hr.
If money isn’t an issue, why not go out and try lots of things to find your passion instead?
It’s nice being in a position where you don’t have to work, but work offers so much more than just money—it can help give you purpose, identity, routine, learn new skills, meet new people, etc… all of which can take your life in exciting and unexpected directions.
Maybe you’ll meet your soul mate, or be inspired to create a new product or service, or maybe you’ll bring hope and joy to those around you whom you wouldn’t ordinarily meet.
The problem here is that you say you want to do something meaningful or whatever but you don’t know what that is.
I would just get a job at least until you figure that out.
Getting a job will more likely start you on the path to finding something meaningful then just hanging around will.
