Gerçekten iyi para kazandıran anlamlı işler mi?
Ben bir 34F’im ve Sosyal Bilimler alanında lisans derecesiyle ve iÅŸletme ve proje yönetimi alanında yan dallarla üniversiteden mezun olmak üzereyim. Yemek hizmetinde baÅŸarılı bir kariyerim vardı ancak stres nedeniyle ve daha anlamlı bir kariyer peÅŸinde koÅŸmak istediÄŸim için ayrıldım. BaÅŸkalarına yardım etmek istiyorum. Neyle bilmiyorum. Sosyal hizmeti biraz araÅŸtırdım ama bunun uygun olduÄŸundan emin deÄŸilim. DiÄŸer gerekliliklerin yanı sıra vaka yönetimi beni ilgilendirmiyor.
Başkaları için gerçek bir değişim yaratmaya çalıştığım bir kariyer istiyorum. İdeal olarak bu insanlarla doğrudan çalışırım, ancak bu gerekli değildir. Kadınlara ve çocuklara yardım etme tutkum var.
Neden hizmet alanındaki herhangi bir işin neredeyse yaşanmaz bir maaşı var gibi görünüyor?! Rehberliği çok isterim. Milyoner olmama gerek yok ama yüksek maliyetli bir eyalette yaşayan bekar bir anneyim ve taşınmak bir seçenek değil.

You can completely ignore my commentary if you like. Maybe it will help someone though.
I think for the longest time I was really caught up in a cycle that only certain occupations are “meaningful” work. That only certain ones have community impact. I’ve done years of work in the nonprofit and political sector. After years of soul searching I’ve found that meaningful work can be almost anything where you engage the public in a positive way. I recall in the Happy documentary one of the subjects was a rickshaw driver in India and lived in a slum. But he had a high level of satisfaction of overall happiness. I think if you have any job where you talk to people and make a concerted effort to uplift those around you then you could find meaningful work anywhere and find you are making some positive impact in little ways everyday.
Commenting to add that advocacy is interesting also. Any job there?!
Sounds like the Department of Children and Families or a battered-women’s shelter might be for you, but I don’t know about the pay. You could also do intake or legal assistant work at a public interest law firm not sure about the pay, but regular hours and three weeks vacation at mine. You could also research Guardian ad litem and see if you’d like that and how much it pays.
