Çöp kamyonlu insanlar bana ulaşıyor
Şu anda 26 yaşında bir çöp kamyonu şoförüyüm ve sekiz yıldır bu işi yapıyorum. Geçen yıl 115 bin kazandım ve bir ev satın aldım.. İnsanların görüşleri bana gerçekten işimi ölü olarak nitelendirmemi sağlıyor ve insanlar bunu yaptığım için beni küçümsüyorlar. Ne yapmalıyım?

Sweetie at 26 you are well past the age of having learned to not give a damn what others think, especially about your job, especially with that income and accomplishment from it.
Ugh I’m an RN and make that much with a very stressful position. I would love to trade jobs with you lol don’t worry about what others think! You’re 26 with a high paying salary and you got a house! Be proud
You make good money, time to get some better friends
I get tired of hearing people tell me when I’m going to have kids. I tell them straight up, “Why? Are you going to help me raise and take care of them financially?” When silence fills the air, I tell them, “That’s what I thought!”
The point I’m trying to make is who gives a shit about what they think? These people wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire anyways, so why give them so much as a moment of your time? At the end of the day, your shit is paid at the end of the month and you are ahead of the game without their help! Be proud of that! Put all your energy on those who help you out instead.
Edit: And being a garbageman is nothing to be ashamed of. I have garbage men in my family and I knew they made bank! It’s hilarious how I was told as a kid that I needed to go to college so that I don’t end up like them. If I had the courage as a kid, I would’ve told those teachers, “Why? You don’t want me to make more than you do?”
Haha it’s ironic. Most people making this type of money at 26 are working in an office. This is way more fun than that. They all are going to hate it at some point. The average American takes like 2000 steps. Lifespan is going down, partially because of this. I’d take any job not being sedentary vs being it.
And you’re also going to hate your job at numerous times in your life. Whether you should bail is a personal choice and should be made for the right reasons.

Brother listen to me please. I have a son, he’s 7. I try to raise him well, he really is a very kind, wears his heart on his sleeve kind of guy. Being realistic, if my son was your age and did what you do for a living I might shed a tear or 2 (hundred) because I would be so proud. You’re self sufficient, half a bright future and are in a position to do whatever you want to do because you’re working a job that will afford that to you when you’re ready. You’ve done damned good for yourself and brother I’m so proud of you for it. Anyone who speak down on you for having a job that will never not be needed and will give you a shot at a future I can only hope for my kids, you don’t need em. Keep going. Yeah I wouldn’t worry about what they’re saying. You’re paid well and it’s an important job. I really appreciate the people who pick ours up.
F all that noise. They would be the same people complaining if there were no drivers to pick our garbage up. You do a great public service, and appreciate you for that. Now I wonder if I’m in the wrong field.
You have job security and great money… these people are trying to tear you down, if you quit because of their useless opinions they will succeed. People that look down on you for that are toxic and need to be far away from you as possible.

Those same people who are down on you are the first to freak out when trash isn’t collected. You are so important. Even the automated trucks need drivers. Also all children from 2-5 are thrilled to see you every week.
