Beyaz Yakalı bir işten geçiş yapmak için hangi Mavi Yakalı işler en iyisidir?
Şu anda Muhasebeciyim. Evde çalışıyorum, makul bir maaşım var ve stres çok da kötü değil. Sorun şu ki artık ofis işlerinde çalışmaktan nefret ediyorum. 5 yılı aşkın süredir bu pozisyonlardayım ve yaptığım işten hoşlanmamaya başlıyorum. Daha önce BT’de bulundum, dolayısıyla ofis ortamında olmak yeni bir şey değil ama artık keyif aldığım bir şey değil.
İşimin bir amacı yok. Ben sadece insanların ve şirketlerin daha da zenginleşmesini ve açıkçası umursamadığım keyfi kurallara uymasını sağlıyorum (İşimde iyiyim ve her şeyin kurallara uygun olduğundan emin oluyorum ama aslında umurumda değil). Küçük bir fark yaratacak bir şey yapmak istiyorum. Yani bir ampulü tamir etmek benim yaptığımdan daha fazlasını başarıyor.
Ayrıca şunu söyleme lütfen. "40 yıl sonra pişman olacaksın", "Sırtın ağrıyacak", "Düşündüğünüz kadar kolay değil", "Ellerinle çalışabileceğin bir hobi edin"vb. vb. Sadece Beyaz Yakalı işlerden Mavi (veya Gri) Yakalı işlere iyi bir şekilde dönüşebilecek öneriler istiyorum. Herhangi bir kariyer önerisi harika olurdu. Teşekkür ederim!

Construction? Anything that starts from the bottom unless your experience can get something higher. Then youll be making your boss rich and destroy your body instead of chillin at home

If you have a problem with “ I only make people and companies get richer and follow arbitrary rules” then wooo buddy the blue collar world will absolutely fuck you up
Manufacturing – trades-based manufacturing offers a good path to gray collar arena.
CNC machinest, is an exalalent start.
No one will hire you without experience but
Many trade/vocational schools offer night programs that you could get into to start the transition. Another is cabinet building, again you will need to get or develop some skills.
But look around and explore other opportunities.
Honestly assess what your current skill level is and explore your optionss.

I’m going to go ahead and give you the answer that you don’t want which is you’re asking what a good hobby should be and not what a good career should be. So you don’t like working in an office? That’s ok! Most people don’t! Find an office or a remote job that works but find a hobby that scratches that itch.
I have a very white collar job and to scratch the itch you’re describing I’ve: spent weeks unloading trailers at a food bank, cut meat behind a butchers counter, done volunteer grounds keeping repair at my kids school. I know an accountant who works a few nights a week at costco doing maintenance and loves it.
The world and your career isn’t so binary as to say you need to do white or blue collar. Find something that balances you out in your free time.
People here are so lame acting like stay at home office jobs are the dream. I too work remotely and it absolutely sucks staying indoors staring at a screen all day. I’m looking into transitioning into organic farming. Not a whole lot of money in it, but being outdoors, active and in nature all day is way better than a sedentary life glued to a screen all day.
