Ben hala otizm ve TSSB ile üçüncü sınıf seviyesinde olan 21 yaşındaki bir okul terkiyim. Benim için çok mu geç?
Anaokulunda 6 yaşındayken iyiydi ve iyiydim ama 7 ila 8 yaşındayken çocukları istismar eden berbat bir okuldaydım ve 9 ila 12 yaşındayken bana hiçbir ÅŸey öğretmeyen ve beni istismar eden korkunç bir özel eÄŸitim okulundaydım ve zihinsel saÄŸlığımı daha fazla vidaladım. 14 yaşındayken bana hiçbir ÅŸey öğretmeyen baÅŸka bir özel eÄŸitime gönderildim (hala bir saatin gençlere nasıl çalıştığını öğretiyorlardı) ve normal okula gitmeme izin verilmedi çünkü ben "Çok az konuÅŸ" Bu yüzden 14 yaşında bıraktım. Bundan sonra bütün gün oyun oynamak ve internette gezinmeden baÅŸka bir ÅŸey yapmadım. Ä°ki test yaptığımda hala üçüncü sınıfta olduÄŸumu gösterdi …
Bu yıl beynimi daha iyi ve daha bağımsız hale getiren ve beni daha az bağımlısı yapan terapi aldım ama aynı zamanda çok geç kaldığımı hissediyorum … Genç hayatımı TSSB’ye kaybettim, beni otizmden daha fazla vidaladı ve 19 yaşında hayatın sonlarında TSSB teÅŸhisi kondu ve sadece 21 yaşında terapi aldım … Zihinsel olarak istikrarsız bir baÅŸarısızlık gibi hissediyorum.
TSSB ve otizm ile okuldan ayrılma olarak alabileceğim herhangi bir iş var mı? Ve eğitime geri dönmem çok mu geç? Hayatta umudum yok.

Hey, I hope you’re doing alright. Talking less doesn’t mean you should’ve been put in special education — it sounds like the system really failed you.
For work, grocery stores, warehouses, and retail often hire people without a high school diploma, and many employers are open to hiring people with disabilities. You could also check with local disability employment services or workforce programs — they can help connect you with jobs and training.
For education, it’s not too late. You could look into adult education classes, GED programs, or community colleges that have support services for people with autism and PTSD. That could open up more job options for you down the line.
I’ve also had a horrible experience in school and I can tell you as a person who dropped out in grade 10 that going back is scary but doable. I graduated 4 years behind of my graduating class and then went on to obtain a college education. I’ve also struggled with PTSD and there are learning centres in college to help students with learning disabilities. What are some of your interests that you enjoy doing? That’s how I found a path specifically in college that I knew would land me a job later on.
Hey im 19 and still in 11th grade bc I became crippled cause of trying to “X-X” at 15. I didn’t go to school for a longtime and skipped cause i was busy being in pain. For entry level job I’ve been looking at being a transcriptionist to make money. Maybe you could try a transcriptionist job or any remote job.
