Babam bana tersledi çünkü FedEx’te çalıştıktan sonra geç uyandım (akşam 5’ten 23’e kadar bir işti, mısır gevreği yemek ve en sevdiğim programın bir kısmını izlemek için biraz daha uyanık kaldım) ve bana FedEx’te paket görevlisi olarak yarı zamanlı çalışmamdan sıkıldığını söyledi ve bunun bir iş olduğunu söyledi. "kadınlar için iş" bana gerçek bir iş bulmamı söylediğinde (sözleşmeli işçi olarak çalışıyor, ağaç kesiyor, bahçede çalışıyor, vb.) ve bir iş bulmam için bir ayım var çünkü bana telefon ve araba sigortamı ödetecek.
FedEx’te tam zamanlı çalışmak istiyorum ama babamla aramda işler daha kötüye giderse iyi bir iş bulmaya çalışsam iyi olacak gibi geliyor ve yeniden askere yazılana kadar ondan temelli olarak uzaklaşmayı denemek istiyorum.
Şu anda daha yüksek maaşlı bir iş bulma umuduyla Indeed’e bakıyorum. Ancak FedEx’teki iş arkadaşlarım bana eğer bir süre daha kalırsam çok iyi maaş alacağımı söyledi.

Why not stay at FedEx and go full time?
First off, sounds like a stressful relationship.
Second, how many days a week do you work? How much do you get paid? Do you have goals? How old are you currently? There’s a lot of missing information here.
I’d say do the opposite of what dad suggests, as a general principle, just based on what you wrote here.
Tell your dad that he sucks. “Lugging around heavy packages all day for your corporate overlords and doing permanent damage to your body is for WOMEN and SISSIES!!!1!!1!!1”
What kind of misogynistic bullcrap is that? Give him the finger and do what makes you happy. What a moron.
Talk to your manager a little bit about your situation. Let them know that you want a full time role but with your circumstances you will need to look elsewhere if they can’t get you one. If you’re a good employee they will want to help get you in a full time position quickly.
Depending on where you live try working at the airport. If you can get in with mainline you’ll have better pay, better benefits and full time hours.
If not mainline try working for a contractor until you can get on with mainline.
I’ve worked for piedmont and now work at ABM while waiting for mainline.
I think the FT idea sounds good like others; go to direct competitors if you need to.
A job is a job that pays, a fedex job is a job. If it is not sucky enough to leave and there is upward mobility, stay on the course.
Why not work at your dad’s place? Or ask him to help you get into the manual labor trades?
You’re an adult working part time at night. You need a full time job because it’s not your dad’s job to support you anymore. Get up and get motivated to do big things rather than laying around all day.
