Acemi bir yazar için iyi bir yüksek lisans programı önerisi olan var mı?

Yazar olmak istiyorum ve ABD’de başvurabileceğim iyi bir yüksek lisans programı bulmaya çalışıyorum (ya Yaratıcı Yazarlık, İngilizce ya da edebiyatla ilgili başka bir program). Ucuz/tamamen finanse edilen, tür yazımına uygun ve ABD’nin batısında veya kuzey/kuzeydoğusunda yer alan, önerebileceğiniz herhangi bir program bilen var mı?

Cevabın muhtemelen böyle bir program bulmayı umduğum için aptal olduğumu zaten biliyorum, ama lütfen nazik olun. Zaten aşırı stresliyim ve bir şeyleri çözmeye çalışırken depresyondayım.

There are a ton of fully funded MFA programs out there with some notable exclusions (like Columbia University, unless they have changed recently). Many good state schools have fully funded MFA programs—I believe the city of Boston has a few, IIRC. These programs in general are wildly, rabidly competitive to get in to and can be extremely competitive once you’re in them, as well.

In order to be accepted to the fully funded programs, you’ll need a strong portfolio and some letters of recommendation from folks who are either well connected in the academic community or big name writers.

I could go on about this ad nauseam, but I’ll cut myself off here. I have my MFA in creative writing myself and received a full scholarship. It was a real journey! There’s a ton of information out there. I would recommend googling schools near you and to find out if they’re fully funded and what kind of authors are there! A lot of people select their program based on the desire to work with specific authors with specific writing styles : ]
