27 milyon yaşındayım ve hayatımda ne yapmam gerektiğine karar vermekte gerçekten zor zamanlar geçirdim. Sırf lisans diplomamı almak için fazladan 2-3 yıl daha harcadım ve üniversiteden hemen sonra mali açıdan başarılı olan babamın örneğini alabilmek için bir satış işine girdim. (derecesi kamu yönetimi alanındadır)
Her ne kadar bu konuda bir yeteneğim olsa da, satış alanında bir kariyerin hayatımda yapmak istediğim şey olmadığını düşünmeden edemiyorum. Birinin bir satın alma işleminin ardındaki nedenleri anlamasına yardımcı olmayı veya birini istemediği veya ihtiyaç duymadığı veya daha ucuz bir fiyata alabileceği bir şeye ikna etmeyi umursamıyorum. Bu konuda çok iyiyim ama bunda mutsuzluk buluyorum.
Kendim için çalışmak, yaratıcı bir şeyler yapmak, başkalarına yardım etmek veya aklını yitirmekte olan bir dünyada iyi bilgi için mücadeleye devam etmekle çok daha fazla ilgileniyorum.
Kariyerini 180 yapan var mı ve nasıldı? Çalışma geçmişime veya arzularıma dayalı herhangi bir öneriniz var mı?

If you don’t have any debt, and don’t have anyone counting on you… absolutely do it!
On doing your own thing: It’s pretty straight forward, just be ready to work 4x as hard at something that pays .25 as much for a while. If you’re successful it will eventually pay 4x as much and you’ll only have to work 2x as hard. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of waking up every day and knowing that every work commitment you have that day is one that you chose, and not one that someone chose for you.
Other tips:
-Some entrepreneurship tasks will energize you and some will deplete you. Delegate the ones that deplete you, even if it costs a little money.
-Sell one thing to a lot of people instead of a lot of things to a few people.
-Don’t quit your day job too soon.

I’m 37, quit my job last year to create business ideas that make the world a bit better, and moved to Bali in the process.
This isn’t my first switch into entrepreneurship though.
For someone starting out I’d say it’s pretty critical to know what work would bring you the most fulfillment otherwise you’ll be craving it pretty bad and that might cause you to give up mid way or not know what to do towards the end.
You’ll want to look into your Ikigai (Google is your friend) and then do some journaling to get clear on what your personal preferences and values are so you can be objective. Doing this reflection and contemplation will naturally create clarity.
Watch out for pitfalls where you are trying to do things because you were taught growing up that that’s important or something that gets you external validation from others. It’s a dead end in the maze.
