I do a lot of home services, but mostly do entity SEO on the city pages. That works really well.
I’ve done programmatic SEO for local and national. When done right, it can be very successful. But I’ve learned that it doesn’t stand alone. The site has to have some authority for the topic in order for the pSEO pages to rank. I have a local client who did training all over the country. I built pSEO pages, and they ranked incredibly well. The client decided to strip down his site to just a home page. (Against all my warnings) His ranking tanked, including all of the pSEO pages.
