SEO is still relevant.
Chat bots and website VA’s can be “trained” just as an employee would be trained to answer questions and collect lead information. They can also be left to their own devices.
The big deal to consider is zero click wreaking havoc on search. People pay for ads and searchers never click because AI answers their questions. No need to visit a website and buy your widget.
The next challenge becomes how do you get AI to know about and suggest your company or your client’s company.
Without clear signals and SEO, AI can’t. The models which are not search engines “simply” recommend those who send the correct signals. Nobody really knows exactly what those are.

Even so, how do you think the “chat bots” get their info?
SEO is now also AIO.
The biggest thrill I get is using AI and have it reference pages on my client’s site that I created.
Can’t get better results than that 👍!
