that’s actually a good sign in a weird way, it means google sees your content as a good answer to the query even if it’s not ranking the page traditionally.
the disconnect usually comes from low authority or thin backlink profile, google trusts your content enough to cite in AI overview but not enough to rank it on page 1 yet.
have you looked at who is ranking in the traditional results for those queries? might give you a sense of what gap to close
Just had this happen for a brand new page too. I’m going to go with it was helpful content that meaningfully matched a niche search term, and Gemini was faster at ranking it than the traditional Google index. Yours was likely the same.
