Best thing that helped me was to not do any projections. Outside of a very basic calculation of “if I rank X it may bring Y clicks” (which sometimes is necessary), I find projections require so many caveats it becomes a worthless exercise. That’s been my view for almost 10 years and with the unpredictability of AIOs/AI Mode I find projections are even more inaccurate. More hassle than what it’s worth imo and so I educate clients to stay away from it and then I don’t get hassled for it.
