"Japonca anahtar kelime/giriş hack’i" (sonunda temizlendi).

Nope.
Some people think that pruning does magic or that more pages = stretched authority – none of this is true or has merit.
Pruning pages that cannibalize or block other pages – sure – thats going to have a major impace
Some people believe there’s a crawl budget. Some believe that by deleting pages, bots have more time to explore your other pages.
None of this makes sense. Firstly – your pages are in a pool with other pages from other domains – they all ahre a ratio of pages to bots – so removing pages does nothing unless you can remove competitor pages

Is there a way to completely remove the pages so Google doesn’t even crawl them? I’ve also done some 410 redirects, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
You can 301 them, you can block their parent folder from Robots if they’re not in the root
# Here’s the real question: why? Whats your goal?
If your pages are indexed, getting crawled more doesnt = more indexing/ranking?
>the site experienced a “Japanese keyword/doorway hack” (which was eventually cleaned up).
Then check the pages report and see how many wrong pages are being crawled – you may need to look at server logs to do this properly
>Some pages have ranked in the top 10, but newer blog content pages are not ranking.
How are you targeting keywords?
Have you lost clicks? Then you’ve lost authority
Have you been promoting the site?
Are you looking from ranking pages with traffic?
Have you lost pages with clicks?
